September a new month, a return of school and fall sports. Sure this year has been different and still had much uncertainty but truly we will rise up, we will move forward and better days are right around the corner. Remember only 117 days until the new year. Breathe in and enjoy what nature has to offer.

August 06, 2020
August last days of summer, indeed hard to believe. This year has been challenging for so many. Lives have indeed been lost at record numbers and the tensions of uncertainty rain down like a late season thunderstorm with randomness of thunder and lightening.
This month I search out some truthful topics, some images that will make you think deeper possibly and maybe a few laughs later on in this news letter.
Crystals perceived power or more .. Many give them attention to empower and protect and summon health and wealth and protection. So what about these deep mined rocks, polished and shiny objects or is it more than that....
So first a little video about these shiny gemstones and crystals
A very good summary and gives a good understanding
Great comments in its summary
Some Gemstones and their image and Metaphysical Properties:
I hope you dig deeper into the Crystal and Gemstone world.
Even if you don't knowledge is fun
Do you collect Crystals?
I do and I have for years
Maybe it is a deeper unknown energy or maybe faith and hope in a placebo effect.
It makes me feel more empowered, energized and protected and gives comfort.

The previous week I launched a Saturday and Sunday post to Make Me Smile Online. Both days have the intention to give or share an image from me to give you the reader the following:
Getting Lost in A Picture ... Found in the Words
Here is a few examples of its intentions in posting. Please not that the pictures here in this newsletter are not mine or created by me... just shared here.
The drawing is both powerful and impactful.
The haves and the have nots in black and white contrast.
Does not show that this is rich or poverty in any sense but shows that some have much more to obtain and hold and chew literally they both do.
The infant teething or dazing off into another direction on the Apple IPAD device or so it seems and the hungry toddler attentively eating nourishment from the ground.
Amazing deep thought and asks many questions. Not enough room here for the many thoughts but one that comes to my mind for me:
Does technology in the hands of the young give nourishment or just more distraction?
The next image
Cutting edge or being cut by the edge. A razor thin indeed
A following crowd is led by a masked leader with protection for him and those who follow not so much to their bare feet. Perhaps a sign of the current times. I will leave it at that. I fear some of us stand for something that we are over qualified for. We are not sheep but yet some follow blindly at whatever cost while others rebel and get left behind. But are they left behind or just cautiously protecting their interests. Time will tell but for some the pain and material assets dwindle.
More to come on Saturday and Sunday so look out for those posts from my blog :)

July 06, 2020
July a time for soaking up the sun, a time for trips to a campground, dips in the river or lake. This is summer 2020, tough times for sure but enjoy each day it belongs to you.
Great summer hacks for the bon fire or the campground
Some ideas for the your days at the campground or backyard.
1. Use makeup cotton squares and mineral oil as a fire starter ~ use with caution any time your at the fire of course long wood matches or a match holder is recommended when starting your bonfire or camp fire.
2. Paper coffee filters and dental floss for making coffee is a quick and easy way to keep your coffee fresh and delicious at the the camp fire. No percolator needed.
3. Potato peeler or vegetable peeler to make single use soap bars for the shower. Easier to handle and the soap won't go to waste sooner than need be.
4. Empty out and rinse out a large laundry detergent container for a hand washing station for the kids. Some containers have a nozzle at the bottom for easy on and off control.
5. Freeze water in gallon jugs will help keep your cooler cold longer. Easy to maintain temperature with large ice easy to use and make.
6. Foam or gym floor mats for under your tent to add cushion to your tent and keeps the hard ground away from your feet and body.
7. Burn sage to keep those insects away or keep a dry sheet in your pocket also works.
8. Lavender essential oil to soothe insect bites. Helps soothe the pain.
9. Create your own Smore Campfire Cones ~Fill sugar cones with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, wrap in aluminum foil, and grill over the campfire for about 5 - 8 minutes Unwrap and enjoy : )
10. Look on Craigslist for campfire wood, many give it away under the free section it may work. Check this often when you are planning a weekend getaway. This may take a few looks but it has worked for many.

June the first true month of Summer 2020
Best Wines for Summer
The summer heat is almost here and your wine will have some special qualities all its own. Whether you use a Spritzer combination maybe try your favorite wine us about 2/3 and 1/3 soda water or bubbly soda (Sprite or Fresca) to the mix and experiment with some fresh fruit.
Stay away from the full body wines, try the light to medium wines for that lighter smoother taste.
White fruity and high acidity is best for those private porch parties.
It goes without saying the social distancing is recommended at the time of this article the pandemic was still recommending that we practice this.
Back to the wines. Sauvignon Blanc is a great wine for summer due to its creamy and light flavor.
Another wine that should be mentioned is Sparkling Rose´ as well as the Pinot Noir Rose´ with its full flavor, it may be dry for some but it can be great for that outdoor part .
Would love to hear our favorites and your suggestions are welcome. Enjoy the month of June and that special moment with a chilled and or bubbly glass of wine.
